- C.1.ADOPT Resolution No. 2026-08 which supersedes Resolution No. 2024-9 regarding terms and conditions for emergency response within the California Fire Service and Rescue Emergency Mutual Aid System. (Access to mutual aid reimbursement)
- C.2.APPROVE and AUTHORIZE the Fire Chief, or designee, to enter into a Memorandum of Understanding with Contra Costa Regional Health Foundation (CCRHF) for Administration of Community Stipends Supporting Contra Costa County Fire Protection District’s Hazardous Materials Division, for the period July 1, 2026, through June 30, 2027, and for annual periods thereafter. (No fiscal impact)
- C.3.APPROVE and AUTHORIZE the Fire Chief, or designee, to execute a contract with Nevada ByProducts, Inc. (dba Rynocare Medical Waste Disposal) in an amount not to exceed $5,000, for hazardous waste, medical waste, and controlled substance disposal services, for the period September 1, 2026, through August 30, 2028. (100% CCCFPD General Fund)
- C.4.APPROVE response to Civil Grand July Report No. 2607, entitled "Contra Costa County Fire Protection District, Ambulance Patient Offload Delays: Time is of the Essence" and DIRECT the Clerk of the Board to forward the response to the Superior Court no later than August 28, 2026. - C.5.APPROVE and AUTHORIZE the Purchasing Agent, or designee, to execute, on behalf of the Fire Chief, an amendment to the Participating Addendum with CDW-G under the OMNIA Partners Public Sector Purchasing Cooperative Program, to increase the payment limit by $733,162 to a new payment limit of $1,000,000, for the continued acquisition of information technology solutions products and services with no change to the term through July 1, 2028. (100% EMS Transport Fund)
- C.6.AUTHORIZE the Fire Chief or designee, to execute a grant deed transferring title of Fire Station 75 located at 259 Garretson Ave. Rodeo, from the former Rodeo Hercules Fire Protection District to the Contra Costa County Fire Protection District, and AUTHORIZE the Fire Chief or designee to take any and all actions necessary to complete the recording of the grant deed. (No fiscal impact)
- C.7.APPROVE and AUTHORIZE the Purchasing Agent, to execute on behalf of the Fire Chief, a purchase order with Halcore Group, Inc. (dba American Emergency Vehicles) in an amount not to exceed $4,300,000 for the manufacture and sale of 20 ambulance vehicles and accompanying equipment. (100% EMS Transport Fund)
- C.8.DECLARE as surplus, AUTHORIZE the Fire Chief, or designee, to dispose of a utility vehicle, and APPROVE the donation of the vehicle to the Suisun Fire Protection District in Solano County. (No fiscal impact)
- C.9.APPROVE and AUTHORIZE the Fire Chief, or designee, to execute a contract with Canva, in an amount not to exceed $13,000.00, to provide graphic design software for the Fire District for the period October 1, 2026 through September 30, 2031. (100% General Operating Fund)
- —ADVISORY COMMISSION The Contra Costa County Fire Protection District Advisory Fire Commission is scheduled to meet next on Monday, September 14, 2026, at 7:00 p.m. at their Administrative Office, 4005 Port Chicago Highway, Suite 250, Concord, CA 94520.
- —GENERAL INFORMATION The Board meets in all its capacities pursuant to Ordinance Code Section 24-2.402. Any disclosable public records related to an open session item on a regular meeting agenda and distributed by the Clerk of the Board to a majority of the members of the Board of Directors less than 96 hours prior to that meeting are available for public inspection at 1025 Escobar Street, First Floor, Martinez, CA 94553, during normal business hours. All matters listed under CONSENT ITEMS are considered by the Board to be routine and will be enacted by one motion. There will be no separate discussion of these items unless requested by a member of the Board before the Board votes on the motion to adopt. Each member of the public will be allowed two minutes to comment on the entire consent agenda. Persons who wish to speak on matters set for PUBLIC HEARINGS will be heard when the Chair calls for public testimony. Each speaker during public testimony will be limited to two minutes. After public testimony, the hearing is closed and the matter is subject to discussion and action by the Board. Members of the Board of Supervisors who have received, and applicants, contractors or their agents who have made, campaign contributions totaling more than $500 to a Board member within the previous 12 months are required to disclose that fact for the official record of the subject proceeding. Disclosures must include the amount of the campaign contribution and identify the recipient Board member, and may be made either in writing to the Clerk of the Board of Supervisors before the subject hearing or by verbal disclosure at the time of the hearing.
