Board of Supervisors (1)

The county's elected legislative body. These meetings decide the budget, contracts and ordinances.

City councils (1)

A city's own elected legislative body. These meetings decide that city's budget, contracts and ordinances.

Board committees (13)

Standing committees of supervisors, where most items are shaped before the full Board sees them.

Neighborhood councils (11)

Municipal Advisory Councils advise the Board on a specific unincorporated community. This is the county's neighborhood-level public meeting.

Commissions and advisory bodies (78)

Countywide commissions, boards and committees. They advise rather than decide, and their meetings are noticed and open.
