- 1:45Public Comment • Steve L. discussed moving the Committee’s meeting time to the second Wednesday of the month from 10-12. • Jill reminded the Committee to review Area Plan objectives related to the Technology Committee at the August meeting.

- 2:00CCC Website - Assessment/Report/Updates + cocoelders411.net | https://cocoelders411.net/ • Jenny updated the ACOA website with the changes suggested at the last Tech meeting. • Cocoelders411 – Sam thanked Steve Freshman for providing a list of the senior centers in the county. Committee and ACOA members distributed postcards to the senior centers. Sam reported the following: Month # of Views December 2025 15 April 2026 125 May 2026 117 June 2026 (as of June 19) 111 • Steve L will ask Tracy for the number of visits to ACOA page on the County website.
- 2:10CSL Update SB 971, discussion: 2027 Technology Committees Proposal/Fraud Prevention Legislation • SB 971 has passed the Senate and is now with the Assembly. The bill has gained the support of he Alzheimer’s Association, the California Association of Adult Day Services, and AARP. • Two other CSL proposals: - 2027 Technology Committees: Recommends that ACOAs should create Technology Committees to advise their AAAs on local tech issues related to seniors. - Fraud Prevention: Proposed changes to banking regulations to prevent fraud/scam transactions.
